We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Walkers Restaurant. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including main courses, desserts, and snacks.
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm. The role will involve standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a hot kitchen environment.
