Landscape Architectural Designer

About the Role:
AECOM is seeking a talented and creative Landscape Architectural Designer to join our team in Markham, ON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying your proficiency in conceptual design, 2D and 3D graphics, diagramming, modeling, and rendering to help craft a vision for projects that will be carried through the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply your fundamental technical skills from prior education and work experience to expand your technical prowess through active mentorship, on-the-job training, and professional development.
- Gain mastery in 2D / CAD and 3D / Revit software, ensure adherence to AECOM standards, and apply client standards.
- Work closely alongside landscape architects, urban designers, planners, architects, transportation planners, and engineers in all aspects of your work.
- Collaborate on challenging, trans-disciplinary infrastructure and design projects in public realm, transportation, transit, architecture, and water.
Requirements:
- Will be completing or have completed their Bachelors or Masters in Landscape Architecture or related post-secondary program.
- Portfolio of project assignments from prior education and work experience that demonstrates your creative / conceptual design abilities, graphic sensibilities, and technical skills.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D software tools necessary to complete the work identified in the Job Summary above.
