Structural Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Welder to contribute to our team in Port Coquitlam, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for performing welding tasks to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.
Key Responsibilities:- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and repair.
- Perform welding operations using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
- Inspect finished work to guarantee compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure efficient production.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve project completion and meet deadlines.
- Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship to demonstrate expertise in welding techniques.
- Certification in welding techniques, such as AWS or CWB, to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Previous experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting to apply knowledge and skills effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control to ensure high-quality work.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with a focus on safety and well-being.
