Low Voltage Technician

**About us**
We are seeking for a **Low Voltage Technician** who will be responsible for the wiring and installation of various systems in residential and commercial environments within the Lower Mainland. This includes working with home theaters, distributed audio, lighting control systems, automated shading systems, security, surveillance, and home automation platforms. The technician ensures precise and efficient wiring connections, performs system installations, and conducts thorough testing to ensure optimal functionality.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ability to get to job sites throughout the lower mainland
- Good communication skills, both client-facing and internal with team members.
- Provide daily logs and effectively communicate to the project manager about each job
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, including AV equipment, structured cabling, security systems, access control, and networking.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for low-voltage installations.
**Requirements**:
- Possess a Class 5 BC Drivers License and reliable transportation.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Low Voltage Technician, preferably in a commercial or residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage systems, including AV equipment, structured cabling, security systems, access control, and networking.
- Proficiency in cable pulling, termination, and testing using industry-standard tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for low voltage installations.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
