Lead Personalization Strategist

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Personalization Strategist to join our team at William Thomas Digital. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing 1:1 marketing strategies that drive business results for our clients.

About the Role:

  • Leverage your expertise in personalization and customer experience to lead projects and programs from concept to execution.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand client objectives and develop tailored solutions.
  • Analyze data and customer insights to inform strategy and optimization recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of our clients' businesses and customers to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • 7-9+ years of experience in developing 1:1 marketing strategies with a focus on customer experience and proven results.
  • Proven experience driving Email Marketing, Digital Messaging or CRM programs and initiatives, preferably through leading marketing automation platforms (e.g. SFMC).
  • Experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, and analyzing data with tools like Power BI, Tableau or Datorama.
  • Strong communications skills, including creating and delivering clear and compelling strategy presentations.
  • Agency experience is preferred but not required.

What You Will Do:

  1. Lead the intake of client briefs and creation of requested strategy deliverables.
  2. Facilitate discovery activities and stakeholder interviews to clarify business objectives and determine the scope of the opportunity.
  3. Create and facilitate internal and/or client workshops to drive discovery and feedback.
  4. Translate business and marketing objectives into KPI frameworks capable of evaluating performance.
  5. Evaluate performance, surface key learnings, and develop actionable hypotheses using quantitative research and data sets.
  6. Synthesize strategic recommendations to build, optimize or extend our clients' 1:1 marketing ecosystems.
  7. Design user flows and translate content, data, and personalization strategies into an experience blueprint.
  8. Prepare presentations and materials articulating client solutions and strategies.
