Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurologist to join our team at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta. This is an excellent opportunity for a medical professional to establish a full-time practice in Neurology and contribute to the well-being of our community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a full-time Neurology practice in the Lethbridge community, participating in the on-call rotation for the Department of Neurology, and providing inpatient and outpatient consultative services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a full-time Neurology practice in the community of Lethbridge.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for the Department of Neurology.
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient consultative services.
  • Obtain and maintain an AHS Medical Staff Appointment and appropriate privileges to provide the services.
  • Reside and maintain primary residence in Lethbridge or the surrounding catchment area.
  • Participate in quality improvement programs and initiatives.
Requirements
  • The individual must have FRCPC certification or equivalent; or Board Certification with a Fellowship in Clinical Neurology.
  • A subspecialty of special interest in Stroke, MS, or Movement Disorders is desirable.
  • Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
What We Offer

This position offers a competitive fee-for-service compensation package, which includes a base salary of $325,000 per year, plus benefits and relocation assistance.
