Job Summary

The City of Ottawa's Recreation, Cultural and Facility Services department is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to coordinate recreation, arts, special needs, aquatics or sports programs for various age groups in a recreational setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement recreation, arts, special needs, aquatics or sports programs for various age groups
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for program participants
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Completion of Grade 11
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a recreational or applicable setting
  • Demonstrated programming experience and knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation
  • Current Standard First Aid, CPR and/or AED certificates
