Job Summary

The City of Ottawa's Recreation and Cultural Services department is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join their team as a Recreation and Cultural Services Specialist. This role will involve planning and implementing program content, as well as instructing, coaching, or coordinating advanced sport programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program content for advanced sport programs
  • Instruct, coach, or coordinate advanced sport programs
  • Work collaboratively with the Recreation and Cultural Services team to achieve departmental goals

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Recreation or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated teaching experience or equivalent apprenticeship
  • Appropriate certification in the relevant recreation/sports program
