Regional Operations Manager

RBC Dominion Securities Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day management, administration, communication, and operational functions supporting the Regional Director.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Regional Director with daily administrative duties, generating reports, presentations, meetings, branch visits, and events.
- Provide support to senior Wealth Management Canada executives as needed.
- Support region's managers and branch staff with ad-hoc questions, expense approvals, website approvals, ticket allocations, invoices, and escalations.
- Manage and provide support on regional projects and initiatives, including implementing plans, maintaining systems, tracking progress, facilitating communication, and following up on action items.
- Coordinate and organize regular and one-off meetings, events, and regional conferences, including related materials, bookings, speaker booking, and venue liaison.
- Create and distribute regional communications and announcements to management team and staff.
- Lead the Regional Performance Committee, review, submit, and communicate quarterly and annual recognition awards, distribute recognition items, and congratulatory letters.
- Review and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Region, including creation, maintenance, and distribution of monthly regional report card and partnering report.
- Assist in regional compliance, including responding to audit requests, encouraging timely branch submission of required reports, attestations, error reports, and maintenance of regional related files.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH).
- Experience working at RBC Dominion Securities or another IIROC investment firm, ideally as a Branch Operations Manager or Associate for 3 or more years.
- A commitment to excellence, outstanding organizational and communication skills, and the ability to proactively take on tasks and project work.
- Superb attention to detail, exemplary communication skills (verbal and written), and strong customer service skills.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
