Job Description

RBC Dominion Securities, a leading full-service investment and wealth management firm, is seeking a highly skilled Regional Operations Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the Regional Director and Branch Directors in the Ontario East/West Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate day-to-day management, administration, communication, and operational functions to ensure seamless support to the Regional Director and Branch Directors.
  • Assist Branch Directors and Branch Operations teams with operational issues, HR, compliance, and client inquiries.
  • Manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects while maintaining a high level of professionalism and communication.
  • Support senior Wealth Management Canada executives as needed.
  • Manage regional projects and initiatives, including implementing plans, maintaining systems, tracking progress, and facilitating communication.
  • Coordinate and organize regular and one-off meetings, events, and regional conferences.
  • Create and distribute regional communications and announcements.
  • Lead the Regional Performance Committee and review quarterly and annual recognition awards.
  • Review and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Region.
  • Assist in regional compliance and national duties, including participation on the Branch Operations Managers Advisory Board.
Requirements:
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH).
  • Experience working at RBC Dominion Securities or another IIROC investment firm, ideally as a Branch Operations Manager or Associate for 3 or more years.
  • Commitment to excellence, outstanding organizational and communication skills, and the ability to proactively take on tasks and project work.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
