About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Strength-N-U Therapy in Scarborough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage therapy services to our clients, working collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide body treatments and therapeutic massage services utilizing various modalities
  • Make clients feel welcome and comfortable, promoting the benefits of massage therapy and recommending frequency
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by observing reactions to massage and modifying as required
  • Be on time for each massage appointment and perform services within the allotted time
  • Maintain treatment rooms in a neat and professional manner, including stocking products and linens, cleaning, and instrument sterilization
  • Complete required client notes, maintain accurate documentation, and file client records
  • Consult and work with Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, and Naturopaths on cross-treated clients to offer a team-based approach to healthcare
  • Provide content and/or appear on screen in social media marketing campaigns
  • Submit mandatory paperwork to insurance companies
  • Work closely with reception staff to ensure efficient and accurate booking and billing
Requirements
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
  • Liability insurance
  • Excellent management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and analysis skills
  • Proficient computing skills and use of email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and social media platforms
