Modern Niagara is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim HSE Regional Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HSE team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of our health, safety, and environmental management system.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to the HSE team to ensure the effective implementation of our HSEMS.
- Collaborate with operations to identify and determine HSE regional objectives and goals.
- Develop and implement a process to monitor and measure the effectiveness of our HSEMS.
- Ensure effective communication of HSE information to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the development and maintenance of our training program to ensure competency and awareness.
- Partner with operations to develop and implement HSE messaging and communications strategies.
- Review and provide feedback on HSE submitted documents to encourage continuous improvement.
- Attend all relevant HSE meetings and support operations and senior leadership in managing risk.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environment Science, or a related field.
- Proven track record of leadership and HSE experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of industry-specific safety regulations and standards.
- Experience with safety audits, inspections, and risk management.
- Proficiency in HSE management software.
- Strong leadership capabilities and high ethical standards.
