Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Pembina Vapes. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are meeting sales targets
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure we have the right products on the shelves
- Authorize return of merchandise and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities
- Sell merchandise and promote products to customers to drive sales growth
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, including sales staff and office staff
- Manage cash and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date
- Supervise office and volunteer staff, including providing guidance and support as needed
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
