Job Summary

This role involves providing evidence-based supervision to PhD students completing practicum placements at the Psychological Wellness Centre (PWC). The ideal candidate will have child- and/or adult-focused clinical training and interests, with experience in supervising trainees in assessment and therapy. A strong understanding of the scientist-practitioner model is essential.

About the Position

This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about teaching and training the next generation of clinical psychologists. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the development of our students' skills and knowledge in clinical psychology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality supervision to PhD students in their practicum placements at the PWC.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based training programs for students.
  • Mentor and support students in their research and professional development.
Requirements
  • PhD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick.
  • Strong evidence of effectiveness in evidence-based clinical supervision.
  • Commitment to the scientist-practitioner model.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, ranging from $85,000 to $110,000 annually. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as access to our university's fitness center and other perks.
