Fleetex Transport is seeking a skilled Help Desk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide top-notch assistance to our users, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our systems.

Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced professional who can handle a fast-paced environment and work under pressure. As a Help Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting user difficulties, providing training and advice, and maintaining a problems and solutions log. You will also participate in the redesign of applications and software, and supervise other technical support workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot user difficulties with computer equipment and software
  • Provide training and advice to users on identified difficulties
  • Maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and software
  • Supervise other technical support workers

Requirements

  • Computer and technology knowledge, including device drivers, networking software and hardware, intranet, internet, servers, software development, and wireless networks
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, handling tight deadlines, and repetitive tasks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative, and judgement
