Job Title: Strategic Marketing and Community Outreach Specialist

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing and community outreach efforts to advance the organization's mission and goals.

The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content, manage communications, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

This role requires a creative and proactive individual with excellent storytelling skills, digital marketing expertise, and a passion for making a difference.

Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy and Storytelling Campaigns: Develop integrated marketing strategies that align with organizational objectives, coordinate traditional and digital marketing campaigns, and implement a comprehensive storytelling strategy.
  • Community & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with leadership, employees, clients, and partners to uncover and document impactful stories, attend events to represent the organization, and lead community outreach initiatives.
  • Digital Marketing: Work with the digital marketing team to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies, increase online visibility, and engage with audiences on social media platforms.
Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital marketing roles.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, SEO, and analytics.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), including WordPress or similar platforms.
  • Passion for storytelling and an innate curiosity about people and ideas.
  • Leadership and team-building skills with a collaborative mindset.
Salary and Benefits

Competitive salary based on experience: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum.
