Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and accurate Bookkeeper to join our team at Quality INN. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Windows, and Quick Books
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
