Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review mortgage documentation manually to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Review all mortgage-related documents required for a residential mortgage to ensure they are in good order and adhere to the Bank's Residential Mortgage Underwriting Policies and Standards.
  • Work under tight timelines to meet documentation deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with underwriting and sales teams to gather necessary information and clarify requirements.
  • Ensure all documentation adheres to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and the Bank's mortgage products, credit policies, and compliance regulations.
  • Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to mortgage documentation.
  • Maintain organized records and files for easy access and reference.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3+ years previous experience in mortgage administration or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for document preparation and management.
  • Clear understanding of the Bank's mortgage products, credit policies, and compliance regulations to ensure all residential mortgages are set up in accordance with the policies and the bank's interest in the property is protected.
