Job Title: Liquor Store Manager

At Otter Co-op, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Liquor Store Manager to lead our team at our Capilano location. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operation and management of the liquor store, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase store profitability.
  • Manage store inventory, merchandising, and visual displays to ensure a compelling customer experience.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of transactions, including cash handling and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager and other store leaders to achieve business objectives and share best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements to ensure the store remains competitive and compliant.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the liquor industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing store profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid Serving it Right Certificate required.
