We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organized individual to join our team as a Customer Service Agent. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a group of high-performing professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

Calm Air Customer Service Agents provide valuable front-line passenger support and assistance at airports and throughout the travel process. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing curbside to curbside service to travellers, ensuring compliance with Canadian Transportation Agency regulations.
  • Making and changing flight reservations using our computerized system.
  • Checking in passengers and their baggage.
  • Calculating and charging additional fees if applicable.
  • Issuing boarding passes, itineraries, and seating assignments as necessary.
  • Assisting pre-boarding passengers to ensure safe movement to and from the aircraft.
  • Providing information on fares, flight schedules, and routes in person or over the phone.
  • Facilitating the safe movement of passengers between aircraft and terminal buildings.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is an asset.
  • The ability to learn a computerized reservation system.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of airline operations is an asset.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Own transportation to and from work.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain an Enhanced Security Clearance qualification.
  • The ability to attend and complete initial Ground School Training.
