Customer Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organized individual to join our team as a Customer Service Agent. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a group of high-performing professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Job DescriptionCalm Air Customer Service Agents provide valuable front-line passenger support and assistance at airports and throughout the travel process. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing curbside to curbside service to travellers, ensuring compliance with Canadian Transportation Agency regulations.
- Making and changing flight reservations using our computerized system.
- Checking in passengers and their baggage.
- Calculating and charging additional fees if applicable.
- Issuing boarding passes, itineraries, and seating assignments as necessary.
- Assisting pre-boarding passengers to ensure safe movement to and from the aircraft.
- Providing information on fares, flight schedules, and routes in person or over the phone.
- Facilitating the safe movement of passengers between aircraft and terminal buildings.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is an asset.
- The ability to learn a computerized reservation system.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of airline operations is an asset.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Own transportation to and from work.
- The ability to obtain and maintain an Enhanced Security Clearance qualification.
- The ability to attend and complete initial Ground School Training.
