About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons - Port Dover. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality of food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that all food meets our high quality standards.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food and service meet our standards.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
