Space Planner

We are seeking a skilled Building Space Planner to join our team at Sibwest Inc. as a key member of our design team.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for creating interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes. This will involve reading blueprint, schemas and drawings, advising on selection of colours, finishes and materials, lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space. They will also be responsible for developing detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other fixtures.
The successful candidate will have experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software, specifically ARCHICAD and AutoCAD. They will also have a strong understanding of interior design principles and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
We are looking for a candidate who is a team player with a client-focused approach. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a related field and be able to work 30 hours per week.
The working language is English, and the work setting will be in various locations, including the employer's/client's home.
