Space Planner

We are seeking a skilled Building Space Planner to join our team at Sibwest Inc. as a key member of our design team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for creating interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes. This will involve reading blueprint, schemas and drawings, advising on selection of colours, finishes and materials, lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space. They will also be responsible for developing detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other fixtures.
Requirements- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in interior design or a related field
- Proficiency in ARCHICAD and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of interior design principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
