Nova Hotels, a Canadian family-owned hotel chain and management company based in Western Canada, seeks an experienced Corporate Human Resources Manager to develop and administer its People & Culture strategy.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the recruitment, retention, and associate relations of Nova Hotels' team members. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing policies to increase associate retention rates and foster job satisfaction;
  • Oversight of senior manager associate orientation, training, and onboarding;
  • Preparation of job descriptions and compensation programs;
  • Recruitment and coordination of job applicants;
  • Establishing policies for recruitment and retention at property level;
  • Visiting hotel properties to ensure compliance with company policies;
  • Maintaining an open-door policy for associates;

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in human resources management, preferably within the hospitality industry. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. A thorough knowledge of employment law and legislation is also essential.

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
