Key Responsibilities

Maintain rotating equipment reliability and address outstanding issues in collaboration with contract millwrights and MEGlobal engineers.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Apply MEGlobal work processes and Global Standards to meet established objectives in a timely and safe manner.
  • Provide advanced trouble shooting to ensure reliability, cost reduction, and equipment productivity.
  • Review job history forms to ensure the quality and reliability of equipment after maintenance activities completion.
  • Review job feedback forms as they relate to job duration to optimize maintenance job execution.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Maintenance Facility Teams and discipline operations systems, processes, and practices, taking into account 'industry best practice'.

  • Comply with all relevant health, safety, security, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.
  • Manage vibration program by measuring vibrations and analyzing the data to provide reports to the reliability group for further review.
  • QA/QC check on incoming equipment.
  • Works with Millwright DAS, Millwright Planner to update documentation such as Bill of Material and to manage MRO material.
Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson millwright or candidate with a diploma in a relevant field. Essential skills include proficiency in Microsoft Windows & MS Office, good communication skills, analytical skills, SAP Plant maintenance PM modules, and ability to understand plant operation.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time position offering an annual salary of $105,000, plus bonus pay, company pension, dental care, employee assistance program, extended health care, life insurance, on-site parking, paid time off, RRSP match, and vision care.

Work Location

This role is based at our Fort Saskatchewan site and requires working day shifts.
