About the Role

Gentek is a leading manufacturer and distributor of vinyl/aluminum siding, windows, and other exterior home improvement products. As a Branch Driver, you will play a key role in our distribution team, ensuring timely and safe delivery of our products to customers.

Responsibilities

As a Branch Driver, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Safely loading and unloading product using the appropriate equipment
  • Knowledge of our products and routes to ensure efficient delivery
  • Providing excellent customer service, greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner

When not on the road, you will be a valued member of our warehouse team, performing tasks related to product movement, warehouse organization and cleanliness, and customer service. General responsibilities include:

  • Picking orders and preparing them in staging areas for delivery
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of delivery trucks
  • Picking orders for immediate pick-up
  • Ensuring accuracy of order against paperwork
  • Moving incoming product to the designated location in the branch

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Class 1 driver's license
  • A high school education
  • The ability to read and write word and letter/number sequences

Working Conditions

The Branch Driver role requires:

  • The ability to safely lift 50lbs
  • The ability to operate material handling equipment
  • Working in a distribution branch environment with noise, fluctuating temperatures, and constant stimulation of senses
