Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our Rail and Transit team in Mississauga, Ontario. As a Junior Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with project delivery, monitoring project finances, and developing project scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Groups and Service Lines to deliver GHD services to clients
- Build strong partnerships with globally integrated teams to identify, design, and achieve innovative solutions
- Assist Project Managers with project delivery, monitoring project finances, and deliverable development
- Develop project scope and oversee project execution to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks
- Assist with proposal development, including the preparation of project scope and budget
- Communicate with equipment suppliers and vendors on behalf of the client, assisting and participating in equipment qualification and validation activities
Qualifications
- 0-3 years of project experience in the field of Transportation is preferred
- Post-secondary education in Engineering
- Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Build and maintain exceptional client relationships
- Strong analytical skills with sound technical judgment
- Proven high ethical standards with a dedication to producing high-quality work
- Self-motivated, flexible, great teammate, willing to work on a wide variety of tasks with minimal direction
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed
