About the Role

GHD is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Rail Transit to join our team in the GTA office. As a key member of our Rail/Transit practice, you will be responsible for delivering rail and transit projects, including light rail, bus rapid transit, and commuter rail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver rail and transit projects to budget, schedule, and quality standards
  • Provide overall supervision and project management leadership during the design-build full cycle phase
  • Monitor project schedules, coordinate with sub-consultants, municipalities, utility companies, railway owners and operators, and clients
  • Prepare monthly status reports and advise on corrective action plans
  • Assist in new work proposals and develop budget estimates and schedules

Requirements

  • Project management experience on LRT or BRT projects in Canada
  • Knowledge of alternate project delivery methods (P3, DB) and experience with teaming arrangements
  • Minimum 8 years of project management experience coordinating multi-discipline engineering teams
  • Experience monitoring project budget and schedule of deliverables in a fast-paced project
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hold a Professional Engineering License in the Province of Ontario or in process, PMP designation is an asset
