We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to lead our development project management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive site evaluations and analyses to identify potential constraints and challenges for development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Analysis Conduct thorough site evaluations, analyzing topographic surveys, soil assessments, and environmental impact studies, to identify any potential constraints or challenges that may impact the development projects.
- Infrastructure Planning Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to plan and design essential infrastructure components, such as roads, sidewalks, utilities (water, sewer, stormwater), drainage systems, and landscaping.
- Subdivision Design Utilize your expertise in civil engineering principles to develop innovative and practical subdivision layouts that optimize land use, infrastructure development, and business needs.
- Compliance with Regulations Stay current with local regulations and ensure that all designs comply with these requirements.
- Project Management Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 Years Municipal/Civil Engineer experience, with a focus on subdivision layout, road design, service design, and development projects.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field; a Masters degree would be an asset.
- On path for registration or currently registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada.
- Proven understanding of zoning and subdivision regulations.
- Proven project management and technical skills.
