We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Johnny Rocco's Italian Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of physical fitness
  • Dependability, organized, reliability, and team player skills
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
