The Assistant Superintendent Insulation will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the satisfaction of our clients and company regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate and requisition necessary materials and supplies.
  • Assign workers to specific tasks and monitor their progress.
  • Inspect the applied insulation for conformance to specifications and safety regulations.
  • Compile production and worker performance reports.
  • Resolve employee grievances and handle disciplinary issues.
  • Work closely with other construction trades and project managers to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for insulation installation projects.
  • Understand and adhere to company safety management systems, policies, procedures, and values.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education, such as a degree or diploma in a related field, and/or relevant combination of experience.
  • 10+ years of experience as an insulation worker.
  • Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and other relevant standards.
  • Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with both industrial and commercial insulation.
  • Ability to forge, grow, and maintain positive relationships.
  • Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office, including MS Project.
  • Evidence of exceptional leadership skills and ability to influence and work within informal teams.
