About the Role- Interpret and read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Operate and maintain fabrication equipment such as welders, plasma cutters, shears, and CNC machines.
- Perform welding (MIG, TIG, and Stick) on various metals including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts according to specifications, ensuring precision and quality.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and implement solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations and practices.
- Assist in training and mentoring apprentices or less experienced fabricators.
- Must have a Red Seal Certification.
- Must be able to handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to fifty (50lbs) pounds.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- A pre-employment physical is required.
- Must be able to wear PPE + Fit Tested Respirator Mask.
- Must be able to work in Confined Spaces.
- All suitable candidates will also be required to pass government clearance.
The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
