Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for household tasks in the absence of parents.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure the family's needs are met.
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional development.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, maintaining a consistent and loving approach.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding the children.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, encouraging their cognitive and social growth.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, ensuring they receive adequate sleep and relaxation.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a stable and loving presence.
  • Transport children to and from school and appointments, ensuring their timely arrival and departure.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, offering comfort and support when needed.

Requirements:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience in a related field is an asset, although equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and initiative.
  • Patience, honesty, and reliability are essential qualities for this role.

Work Environment:

  • This is a non-smoking environment.
  • The work setting is at the employer's home.

Additional Information: This is a temporary position with 30-35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, a strong sense of organization, and the ability to work independently. Fluency in English is required.
