Key Responsibilities- Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their individual needs.
- Engage children in activities that promote their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
- Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Encourage children to express their creativity through various media, such as art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
- Establish guidelines for behaviour and ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times.
- Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
- Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
- Child development assistant (ECE level 1) or equivalent certification.
- Basic security clearance and criminal record check.
- Immunization records.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a team player attitude.
