About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at LHR Américas. As a key member of our corporate development team, you will play a critical role in identifying and executing strategic business opportunities that drive growth and value for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Execution: Conduct thorough due diligence on target companies, perform financial valuations, and develop negotiation strategies to secure successful transactions.
  • Business Development: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, develop business plans, and negotiate commercial terms to drive growth and revenue.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, consultants, and potential partners to ensure seamless transaction execution.
  • Project Management: Oversee all aspects of transaction execution, including project planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Team Leadership: Provide administrative direction and personnel management to assigned Business Development Analysts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance from a recognized international program.
  • 10-15 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years of experience in M&A transaction execution.
  • Strong M&A background, extensive experience in financial valuation and modeling, due diligence, commercial negotiations, and transaction structuring.
  • Adequate understanding of financial analysis of companies and valuation methodologies, commercial principles of a transaction, and different types of transactions.
  • Industry expertise in knowledge of specific venturing activities such as commercialization, spin-offs, or joint venturing, project development, financial valuations and modeling, facilities planning, strategy development, or relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
