Procurement Governance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Procurement Governance Manager. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our Third Party Risk Management Standard and providing expert guidance on vendor risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning and Team Collaboration
Participate in strategic planning and team decisions, and contribute to the development and delivery of relevant policies, processes, and tools.
Regulatory Governance and ComplianceEnsure completion and compliance for all activities related to regulatory governance, and act as a subject matter expert on regulatory requirements relating to vendor risk management.
Data Analysis and ReportingPerform data aggregation, data analytics, and reporting activities, and provide and maintain vendor risk reporting mechanisms.
Key Risk Metrics and Performance MetricsAggregate key risk metrics and performance metrics, and provide to the Strategic Procurement Office for reporting to the Enterprise Risk Committee, Operational Risk Committee, and Board Risk Committee.
Third-Party Related Issues and Corrective Action PlansEnsure follow-on reporting and monitoring on third-party related issues and corrective action plans.
Vendor Risk Issues and Compliance ProblemsEscalate vendor risk issues and compliance problems that have not been adequately addressed.
Communication and TrainingSupport development and execution of a robust communication and training plan to facilitate the effective awareness and application of the Global Procurement and Third Party Management Standard.
Staying InformedStay informed about the latest developments in the vendor risk management field.
Requirements- Education
Undergraduate degree (business preferred).
Experience5+ years of progressive business experience, preferably including procurement, vendor management, and/or risk management.
Knowledge and SkillsWorking knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to the management of third-party outsourcing in the jurisdiction in which Manulife operates.
Industry ExpertiseWorking knowledge and application of industry vendor risk management principles and vendor risk analysis and governance best practices.
