Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Governance and Compliance Manager to join our team at Manulife Insurance Malaysia. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and developing effective vendor risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage vendor risk by conducting thorough risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address procurement-related risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors to ensure effective communication and risk management.
  • Provide training and support to procurement team members on vendor risk management and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure our procurement practices remain best-in-class.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
