About the Role
">We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work in both clinic settings and respiratory home care, providing exceptional respiratory care and contributing to patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
">Some key responsibilities of this role include:
- Performing diagnostic pulmonary function testing and sleep studies to provide accurate information for patient care;
- Conducting home visits for respiratory care assessments and service delivery;
- Communicating clearly with patients to address their concerns and ensure understanding;
- Setting up equipment and applying techniques that prioritize patient comfort and safety;
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care;
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment and protecting patient confidentiality.
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Current registration with CARTA and CSRT in good standing;
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a criminal record check;
- Current CPR certification;
- Excellent multitasking and communication skills;
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
