About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Guest Services Coordinator to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to guests, responding to their inquiries and requests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of transactions.
  • Take dining room reservations and ensure seamless communication with our culinary team.
  • Anticipate and respond to guest issues and concerns, taking prompt action to resolve any problems that may arise.
  • Provide information about our hotel and local area, ensuring guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay.
  • Balance cash floats and maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Answer internal and external phone calls in a professional and pleasant manner.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Ensure the front lobby is tidy and free of debris.
  • Display responsible behavior consistent with our organization's standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members at shift change.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a related field.
  • Experience working as a front desk attendant or similar role in a hospitality environment.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
