Guest Services Coordinator

Job Overview
As a vital member of our dining establishment, the Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. This position offers a competitive wage of $20.15 per hour along with Free Employee Parking and Comprehensive Benefits after one year. Additionally, our employees benefit from an Employee Meal Plan.
SSP Canada is excited to introduce a new BONUS PROGRAM You can earn $17.65 plus an extra $2.50 per hour for every hour worked, enhancing your overall earnings while enjoying the numerous benefits provided to SSP Canada employees.
Responsibilities:
Warmly greet all guests and escort them to their designated seating. Manage seating arrangements to maintain a smooth flow within the dining area. Assist guests with children and those with special requirements as needed. Present menus, respond to inquiries, and provide recommendations regarding our offerings. Communicate any special needs or potential issues to servers and management. Clear and reset tables after each course. Ensure complete satisfaction for all guests. Thank guests for their visit as they leave the establishment.Skills and Qualifications:
A friendly demeanor that makes guests feel at home. A minimum of 6 months experience in a retail or food service environment. A high school diploma is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding English to effectively communicate with guests. Experience in handling customer service challenges. Basic math skills for cash register operations and transactions.
