Medical Laboratory Technologist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Laboratory department, you will be responsible for performing laboratory work and related duties in the fields of Biochemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology.
Key Responsibilities- Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results.
- Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide timely and effective patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
- Successful completion of an approved course in Medical Technology.
- Registration with the British Columbia Society of Laboratory Science (BCSLS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
