About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Security Professional to join our team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for responding effectively to alarm calls and client requests, conducting routine patrols of scheduled sites, and maintaining communication with the operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Alarm Response: Respond promptly and effectively to alarms and client calls, ensuring the safety and security of client premises.
  • Site Patrols: Conduct routine patrols of scheduled sites, utilizing both vehicle and foot patrols to ensure optimal site coverage.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with the operations team to provide timely updates on incidents or concerns.
Requirements:
  • A valid Ontario Security License is mandatory for this role.
  • A valid Ontario G-Class Driver's License with at least 2 years of driving experience is required.
  • Maintaining insurance requirements is essential, including proof of prior insurance coverage on a vehicle (with a minimum age requirement of 25).
  • A current driver's abstract is necessary for review.
  • The ability to obtain approval from our insurance provider is crucial.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with our company policy.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a related security position is preferred.
  • A post-secondary diploma or certification in a related field (e.g., law enforcement) is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills are essential.
  • Exceptional time management and task prioritization abilities are necessary.
  • A high level of personal integrity and a strong work ethic are expected.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations.
  • Confident and decisive in making judgments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Benefits

This role offers an estimated salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
