About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Government of Yukon as a Home Support Worker. As a member of our team, you will provide home support services to clients in the Yukon, promoting their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, home management, and respite care to clients in their homes
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients
Requirements
  • Home Support Worker and/or Nursing Home Attendant Certificate
  • Experience working in home care or a community-based setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
