About the Role

Alexander Machica Household is seeking a reliable and experienced Child Care Live-In Caregiver to join our team. As a live-in caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children in a loving and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Education and Development: Assist with homework, encourage learning, and support the children's educational growth.
  • Household Management: Maintain a clean and organized home, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children, taking into account any dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and comfort to the children, helping them to develop social skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Transportation: Take the children to and from school, appointments, and activities, ensuring their safe transportation.
  • Health and Hygiene: Maintain accurate records of daily activities and health information, ensuring the children's health and well-being.
  • Household Safety: Ensure the home is safe and secure, adhering to all necessary safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in childcare or a related field.
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work, as well as the advertised start date.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking and scent-free environment.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
