Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Angel Food Services Ltd. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months or equivalent experience

Work Setting: Our healthcare institution, facility, or clinic requires a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining this environment.

Tasks:

  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closet
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • Clean and disinfect elevators
  • Provide basic information on facilities
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
  • Clean changing rooms and showers

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires repetitive tasks, physical demands, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
