Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Allegiance Building Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to a high standard
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and dust-free environment
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy space
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to ensure a hygienic environment
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy space
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to ensure a clean and dust-free environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in a physically demanding environment
Work Environment

As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be working in a variety of settings, including office buildings, schools and other commercial properties. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.
