We are seeking a qualified Ongoing Education Instructor to join our team at York Region District School Board.
About the JobThis is a full-time, contract position teaching International Languages or other non-credit elementary programs. The successful candidate will have experience in teaching with YCDSB Continuing Education programs and previous experience teaching in similar settings.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for students in International Languages or other non-credit elementary programs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality educational experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Previous experience teaching with YCDSB Continuing Education programs.
- Teacher training and/or training in language teaching methodologies.
The salary for this position is estimated to be between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan.
