About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Pet Store Salesperson to join our team at Global Pet Foods Jasper Ave. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing advice and recommendations on pet food and supplies.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain a visually appealing store display.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in receiving and stocking merchandise, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide support during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Specialty shop environment with on-site customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Adaptability, efficiency, energetic, hardworking, outgoing, positive attitude, quick learner, dependability, reliability, and excellent oral communication skills.
