Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Attendant to join our team at Islandsand Holdings Incorporated. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and place them in storage areas
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a smooth service
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and keep records of the quantities of food used
  • Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods to meet customer demands
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer expectations
  • Take customers' orders and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to meet customer demands
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
