Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Harvest Clean Eats. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used to maintain inventory and prevent waste.
  • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Take customers' orders and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs as needed.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for cooking and serving.

Requirements:

  • Availability for shift or on-call work to meet customer demands.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Legal ability to work in Canada and reside in proximity to the advertised location.
